Torturer's already crude humor became so distasteful, insulting and flat throught the invocation of Cegorach's power, the corruptive chaos force melding it inside the Slaaneshi's mind into a horrid destructive psyker force itself. The results were surprising, to say the least. ![]() So he, as well as other selected few from the warband that had an understanding of written Eldar languade, studied the texts. Unfortunately, and Torturer never came to realize it, it was not written for human eyes and minds. It contained no special power in itself, if for the power to imbue the reader with the sparkling, sharp wit of Cegorach himself. Now, suspended in vats full of Eldar blood, the Encyclopedia opened itself to the mortals that were never intended to gaze upon it. It was the relic of Harlequinns, visible only when bathed in the blood of Cegorach minions, and Torturer kept it that way. However, during his raid on a ship of the followers of the Laughing God that so easily thwarted his search for the Black Library, Cegorach, the Slaaneshi, to his own bemusement uncovered the many tomes of the Vanishing Encyclopedia. The Noise Raptor, like many, had been enamoured with the idea to gaining access to the fabled Black Library, protected by the Eldar, and like many, failed in his quests. ![]() The little known feat of Lord Torturer was the acquittal of the Harlequinn Vanishing Encyclopedia.
